CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Rotary hammer drill is a hand held battery-powered tool. Drive consists of a
brushless DC motor with planetary gear. The rotary hammer drill can operate
with impact action switched on or off. The rotary hammer drill is designed for
drilling holes in wood, metal, plastics and ceramics without impact, as well
as in concrete, stone, brick etc. with impact on. Range of use covers repair
and building works, woodworking and any work from the scope of individual,
amateur activities (tinkering).
Use the power tool in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions only.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL HANDLE
Due to safety issues, always use additional handle when operating
the rotary hammer. It can be fixed in any position on the fixing cylindrical
section.
• Turn lower part of the additional handle (9) counter-clockwise to loosen.
• Slide the additional handle collar (9) over cylindrical section of the rotary
hammer body.
• Select the most comfortable position for the work at hand.
• Turn lower part of the additional handle (9) clockwise to lock securely.
INSTALLATION OF DEPTH GAUGE ROD
Depth gauge rod (4) is used to limit the depth of drill penetration in material.
• Loosen the butterfly bolt of depth gauge rod (3) (fig. A).
• Slide the depth gauge rod (4) into the hole in the additional handle collar
(9).
• Lock in selected position by tightening the butterfly bolt of depth gauge
rod (3).
REMOVING AND INSERTING THE BATTERY
When the battery (10) cannot be removed or inserted in the device because
of position of the additional handle (9), loosen the handle and set to position
that allows handling the battery.
• Set the direction selector switch (6) in the middle position.
• Press the battery lock button (11) and slide out the battery (10) (fig. B).
• Insert charged battery (10) into the handle holder, you should hear when
the battery lock button (11) snaps.
BATTERY CHARGING
The device is supplied with partially charged battery. Charge the battery when
ambient temperature is within range 4°C–40°C. New battery, or one that has
not been used for a long time, will reach full efficiency after approximately 3
to 5 charge/discharge cycles.
• Remove the battery (10) from the device (fig. B).
• Connect the charger to mains socket (230 V AC).
• Slide the battery (10) into the charger (13) (fig. C). Make sure the battery is
properly fitted (pushed to the end).
When the charger is connected to a mains socket (230 V AC), the green diode
(12) on the charger turns on to indicate connected supply.
When the battery (10) is placed in the charger (13), the red diode (12) on the
charger turns on to indicate that the charging is in progress.
At the same time green diodes (15) of the battery level indication are flashing
in different configurations, see description below.
• All diodes are flashing – the battery is empty and requires charging.
• 2 diodes are flashing – the battery is partially discharged.
• 1 diode is flashing – the battery level is high.
Once the battery has been charged, the diode (12) on the charger lights
green, and all battery level diodes (15) light continuously. After some time
(approx. 15 s) the battery level indication diodes (15) turn off.
