6.2 CALIBRATING THE GAUGE
The Elcometer 480 will calibrate automatically on switch on (if enabled)
and/or calibration can be performed at any time.
To enable auto calibration (T):

Press Menu/Setup/Calibration.

Use the
'Select'.
The calibration procedure will now commence automatically each time
the gauge is switched on and a calibration tile is attached to the base
of the gauge.
To manually calibrate the gauge:

Attach the Elcometer 480 calibration tile to the base of the gauge
or place the gauge on to an independent gloss tile.

Press Menu/Calibrate (B & T) or Batch/New Batch/Calibrate
when in Batching (T).
Calibration details for each individual batch can be viewed at any time
via Menu/Batch/Review Batch/Calibration Information (T).
