At this point, if the daily work session is over switch off
at the main switch (1).

proceed as per standard work procedures. Wear appropriate protective gloves too.
After welding avoid direct contact with the surface working plate and refractory
platform by taking the necessary precautions (e.g. use pincers): the accumulated heat
energy dissipates over rather a long period.
Certain work procedures (e.g. secondary welding) may require slow cooling. Therefore,
when welding is over do not raise the protective screen and switch off at the main
switch. Wait for the item to cool down naturally. Following this procedure will protect
the work against any thermal shock.

with the Quasar optical welder which have not been made in compliance with the
procedures described in this manual.
