This section is intended only for Orbea deal-
ers who, after review by Orbea, must replace
the rim of an OC wheel (only on those models
described in this section).
Consult the Keep On Rolling program condi-
tions in the respective section of this manual.
Wheel construction is a complex technical
process that must be conducted by a special-
ized technician with experience approved by

FOR OC XC TEAM WHEELS
Follow the instructions below if you must replace an OC XC
TEAM rim. Prior Orbea authorization required.
The following is not a complete assembly guide and only
sumes that the technician who will perform the replace-
ment has the necessary prior experience and has been
authorized by Orbea to carry out the rim replacement.
TOOLS NEEDED FOR WHEEL CONSTRUCTION
Below is a list of the basic tools required to safely replace
the wheels on OC XC TEAM models. Other wheels may
require other tools.
TECHNICAL MANUAL
Always use quality tools to ensure correct work.
· WHEEL TRUING STAND, double sided.
· SPOKE WRENCH of the correct nipple size to avoid
rounding/stripping the nipples.
· TENSION METER. Read the manufacturer's manual to

RIM ORIE NTATION
The OC XC TEAM rims are symmetrical. To ensure mount-
ing consistency, rotate the rim so that the maximum pres-
sure inscription is legible from the right side of the bike.

The OC XC TEAM spoke holes are oriented asymmetrically
on either side of the rim.
Always build the wheel so that the spokes on one side of
the hub correspond with the correct hole direction.
