ROLLING REPLACEMENT PROCESS
All warranty claims must be processed through an author-
ized Orbea dealer who will perform the initial diagnosis
and send Orbea all the documentation necessary to com-
plete and submit a claim. The dealer will inform the owner
of the status of the process and Orbea's decision on the
warranty claim.
The warranty claim process on non-OC components that
are mounted on our wheels, such as, but not limited to,
RaceFace rims, DT Swiss hubs, Shimano hubs, Mavic
hubs, etc., must be processed through a dealer of the
manufacturer in question, who will process the claim with
the component's manufacturer.
Rim replacements included in the Keep On Rolling pro-
gram, as well as the shipment of wheels to our repair
centers, must be processed through an authorized Orbea
dealer who will perform the rim replacement or will send
and receive the material to/from Orbea. The dealer will
also inform the customer of the status of their repair in
the event that the wheel has been sent to the Orbea repair
center, if the option exists within their country.
To process a warranty claim or a replacement under the
Keep On Rolling program, we recommend that you always
return to the dealer from where you originally purchased
your bike or wheels, or to the dealer you chose when using
Orbea's home delivery option. If you cannot return to the
original dealer, check the list of authorized dealers on our
website or contact Orbea for help in choosing a dealer.

Please follow these warnings carefully. Fail-
ure to observe these warnings while using
the wheels can lead to component failure
that can lead to accidents and serious inju-
ries, including death.
Also refer to the Maintenance section for the
necessary checks prior to using the wheels
and throughout their service life to ensure
the safe operation of the OC wheels.
Damage to components caused by not follow-
ing the instructions below voids the warranty.
AXLES
· Always adjust thru-axles correctly before using your
wheels. If you are using an Orbea axle, consult your bike
model's technical manual for the correct installation
method and torque. For third-party thru-axles, such as
those on suspension forks, see the manufacturer's doc-
umentation for the correct installation method.
Wheels installed incorrectly can cause the wheel to
come off during use, causing accidents and/or serious
injury.
As a general rule on quick release axles, if the locking
lever does not leave a mark on your hand when adjusting
the wheel, the axle is not tight enough.
TIRES
· If you choose to use a tubeless setup (no inner tubes)
on your tubeless wheels, use only Tubeless-Ready or
UST tires.
· Do not use tools to remove or install a tubeless tire, es-
pecially steel tire levers. The tool can damage the bead
culty mounting the tires, use water with a small amount
of soap to make mounting easier.
· Never exceed the maximum tire pressure recommended
by the tire manufacturer.
· On hookless rims, never exceed the maximum pressure
sure Table within this manual. Doing so could cause the
tire to come off the rim during use, which could lead to
accidents and/or serious injury.
manufacturer when attempting to bead a tubeless tire.
· Never use a tire that shows damage or punctures.
Replace the tire immediately.
· Too low a tire pressure can cause premature tire wear
and loss of control, as well as damage to the tire caused
by impacts.
· Do not tighten the nut of the tubeless valves with any
tool. Doing so may damage the rim and the O-ring and
may cause air leaks. Always tighten the nut by hand as
· If you puncture an inner tube and have repaired it, install
a new inner tube before your next ride. A repaired tube
can lose air suddenly, causing loss of control and/or ac-
cidents.
R IM S
· If you notice a blow to the rim during use, check that
it is not damaged and that the rim side walls have not
deformed. If it causes air leaks or the tire doesn't seat
properly, replace the rim or wheel.
· Check regularly for broken or loose spokes. Wheels with
lateral deviation can cause loss of control, resulting in
accidents and/or serious injury.
CASSETTES
· Always follow the cassette manufacturer's mounting and
-
torque instructions when mounting the cassette on the
freewheel hub.
· During use, the cassette sprockets may produce small
marks on the hub body. This is normal and does not
imply a defect in materials or incorrect assembly.
