OC wheels with Tubeless Ready designation have the tube-
less rim tape installed; however, if your wheels do not have
tubeless tape or it needs to be replaced due to wear, follow
the instructions below.
START
1. Clean the inside of the rim with alcohol to remove any
glue, grease, or impurities.
2. Looking at the rim from above the valve hole, begin
placing the tubeless tape between the second and third
spokes on one side of the valve hole and work your way
towards the valve hole.
3. Keep the tape centered and apply tension as you place
the tape to avoid air bubbles. Firmly press the tape

4. Install a full circumference of tape around the rim and
cut the tape between the second and third spokes after
you have passed the valve hole, creating an overlap of
two layers of tape in the valve area.

Always use tape of the correct width for your
wheel. The tape must not stick against the
sidewalls of the rim and must properly cover
the bottom of the rim to avoid air leaks.
5. Using an awl tool (not a knife or scissors), pierce the
tape in the location of the valve hole. The hole should
be slightly smaller in diameter than the valve itself
