POWER

Program 9 is the steady watt rate
program with automatic speed control.
Press the START/STOP key to switch
the monitor on, then press the ENTER
key and the time window will start to
flash, use the UP/DOWN keys to
specify the duration of the exercise
(from 5 - 99 minutes), select the time
limit and press ENTER..
The kcal window will start to flash. Use
the UP/DOWN keys to specify the
number of kcal to be burnt off during
exercise (from 10 to 9990 kcal). Select
the number of calories and press
ENTER.
The Watts window will start to flash.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to specify the
number of watts to produce during
exercise (
from 30 – 300 watts).
Select the watts and press START /
STOP to begin the exercise.
NOTE: POWER (Watts) = TORQUE
(kg) x R.P.M (Revolutions per minute)
x 1.03.
In the Watt program the unit will
automatically adjust the exertion level
based on the specified Watt value.
E.g. To keep the watts produced at a
steady rate, if you slow down during
exercise
then
automatically increase the exertion
level.
Likewise, if you speed up during
exercise the unit will automatically
limit
in
the
PROGRAM
the
unit
decrease the exertion level.
This ensures that the Watts being
produced stay at the specified value.

5. HEART RATE CONTROL
PROGRAMS
Programs 10 to 12 are used for Heart
Rate Control (HRC).
With programs 10 to 12 you can
specify a constant heart rate level,
whenever your heart rate goes above
the programmed level the machine will
automatically decrease the exertion
level to maintain your specified value,
alternatively, if your heart rate is below
the
programmed
machine will increase the exertion
level in order to reach the specified
value.
With programs 10 to 12 you can
specify various maximum heart rate
levels based on your age (maximum
value calculated from 220 minus your
age).
Program 10 is for 60% maximum
heart rate level
Program 11 is for 75% maximum
heart rate level
Program 12 is for 85% maximum
heart rate level

enter the data into the programs:
