LISTENING TO AN MP3 CD (depending on equipment)
Selecting a folder
Select a folder by briefly pressing but-
tons 18 or 19 (MP3).
The files can be scrolled through de-
pending on the disc's file tree.
Selecting an MP3 file
Press 2 (<< or >>) or rotate control
knob 13 to skip forwards or backwards
between tracks.
Return to the start of the current track
by briefly pressing 2 (<<).
Fast winding
Press and hold 2 (<< or >>) to fast for-
ward or rewind.
Playback resumes when the button is
released.

Pause
Press simultaneously on 14/15 or 17 to
interrupt current play.
The display reads PAUSE.
Repeat this to resume playback.
Random playback
Press and hold button 10 to activate
random playback (a beep sounds).
Repeat this to deactivate the function.
Ejecting the disc at any time deacti-
vates the RANDOM function.
Displaying MP3 CD
information
The standard display is ALB02 TR03
which means that album 2, track 3 is
playing.
Press button 11 to flash the file name on
the display during playback. Pressing
the button again will display the folder
name.

Ejecting an MP3 CD
Press 3 to eject the MP3 CD.
The audio system will automatically
return to the radio.
If the MP3 CD is not removed after
10 seconds, it is reinserted into the
player.
CD maintenance
To protect CD readability, never expose
a CD to heat or direct sunlight.
To clean a CD, rub the CD from the
centre outwards using a soft cloth.
As a general rule, refer to the CD man-
ufacturer's advice concerning mainte-
nance and storage.
Note: the system may not be able to
read scratched or dirty CDs.
