Security code SETTINGS
Security code (depending on
equipment)
Your audio system is protected by a
security code. This allows the audio
system and CD changer to be locked
electronically when the supply is cut off
(battery or system disconnected, blown
fuse, etc.).
To operate the audio system, you must
enter the secret four-digit code supplied
by the manufacturer's dealer.
They hold a secure record of this code.
Make a note of the code and keep it in a
safe place. Contact the manufacturer's
dealer if you lose it.
Entering the code
Press button 1 to switch on the audio
system. The message CODE followed
by 0000 is displayed.
Set the value of the first flashing digit,
using control knob 13, or by briefly
pressing button 1 on keypad 4 until
the number required is reached. Move
to the next digit by briefly pressing 16,
or pressing and holding 2 on keypad 4.
Set the rest of the digits in the same
way.
After confirming the fourth digit, press
and hold 10 or 16 until a beep sounds.
The system is unlocked automatically
once the full code has been entered.
Entering the code incorrectly
If an error is made whilst entering the
code, the message "CODE ERROR..
WAIT99" is displayed.
Wait 2 minutes and then re-enter the
code. Each time the code is entered in-
correctly, the time required before the
code can be re-entered is doubled.
Contact the CD changer manufactur-
er's dealer if the message "CD CODE"
is displayed.

Audio settings
Two audio system settings need to be
stored the first time the security code
is entered.
First setting:
The message CURVE marked 0 to 5 is
displayed.
Select number 0 with 2 or control
knob 13 and confirm by pressing and
holding 10 or 16.
Second setting:
This setting allows you to configure the
tuner according to your geographical
area.
Select the continent with 2 or 13 and
confirm by pressing and holding 10
or 16.
The default geographical area is
OTHERS (which means Europe).
After having set these parameters, the
audio system unlocks and will operate
normally.
