Decommissioning, maintenance
CAUTION
Never open the device yourself! If you do, there is a danger that laser radiation
will be emitted from the device in an uncontrollable way. The housing of the
BCL 8 does not contain any parts that need to be adjusted or serviced by the
user. If faults cannot be remedied, the device must be decommissioned and
it must be ensured that the device is not accidentally recommissioned.
Package the device for transport and storage in such a way that is protected
against shock and humidity. The original packaging offers optimum protec-
tion. Ensure compliance with the approved environmental conditions listed in
the specifications.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as thinner or acetone for clean-
ing the device.
