professional technician or contractor. Incorrect installation
of this unit will result in death, serious injury, and damage
to equipment and property damage.

Risk of fire. Allow fuel spills to completely dry
before starting engine. Failure to do so will
result in death or serious injury.

Risk of Fire. Hot surfaces could ignite
combustibles, resulting in fire. Fire could

General Rules

Loss of life. Property damage. Installation must always
comply with applicable codes, standards, laws and
regulations. Failure to do so will result in death

Electrical backfeed. Use only approved switchgear to
isolate generator when electrical utility is the primary
power source. Failure to do so will result in death,
serious injury, and equipment damage.

Before You Begin

Contact the local inspector or City Hall to be aware of
all federal, state and local codes that could impact
the installation. Secure all required permits before
starting the job.

Carefully read and follow all of the procedures and
safety precautions detailed in the installation guide. If
any portion of the installation manual, technical

completely understood, contact an Independent
Authorized Service Dealer for assistance.

Fully comply with all relevant NEC, NFPA and OSHA
standards as well as all federal, state and local
building and electric codes. As with any generator,

NFPA 37 and NFPA 70 standards as well as any
other federal, state, and local codes for minimum
distances from other structures.
