CP 100 and CP 200 electrocardiographs — software upgrade 2.5
Upgrading your CP 100 or CP 200 software
Caution Do not unplug or turn the electrocardiograph off during the upgrade, or the system will
become inoperable.
After you install an update, it cannot be uninstalled.
1. Turn the electrocardiograph on.
2. Insert the SD memory card into the slot.
3. Perform the upgrade.
a. Press the Menu key
b. Choose Main Menu > Systems Settings > Device Info > Upgrade Software.
c. Follow the instructions on the screen.
The upgrade takes about 60 seconds to complete. The electrocardiograph reboots.
4. Verify the upgrade.
a. Press the Menu key
b. Choose Main Menu > System Settings > Device Info > About.
c. Make sure that the product version listed is the version that you installed. If not, call Welch Allyn.
d. Press Stop/Cancel.
5. Verify the date and time displayed. If they are incorrect, set them.
a. Press the Menu key
b. Choose Main Menu > System Settings > Device Configuration > Set Date/Time.
c. Make the desired change.
d. Press Stop/Cancel.
6. Print a device report for your records.
a. Press the Menu key
b. Choose Main Menu > System Settings > Device Info > Print Settings.
c. Verify that system settings are correct. Keep the report for reference.
