Danger of burns!
• Always operate the device in the vertical position, in order to ensure air circulation in
the device.
• After the end of the experiment, allow the device to cool down sufficiently before you
store the device in any closed space.
Mechanical hazard
Each resistor is secured with a self-resetting thermostatic switch. The tripping of a switch
results in asymmetrical loading of the motor. Mechanical hazard due to imbalance!
• Shut the device down immediately and allow it to cool down completely.
• Use the device only under constant supervision
Automatic restart
When the device is overheated, all three thermostatic switches may have opened.
Hazard due to automatic restart as the device cools down!
• Do not use the device until the thermostatic switches have closed.
• Use the device only under constant supervision.
