Starting the tool
Before starting work, wear adequate clothing (see picture G) and check that all the safety devices are well assembled and
can operate properly.
WARNING!
•
Start the tool only when it is among the branches. Any improper use damages the tool and causes excessive
battery power consumption.
•
Use the tool only for the aims described in chapter "Product description". Any other use may cause injuries.
•

Stopping the tool
The tool must always be switched off at the end of the work session:

Troubleshooting
WARNING!
All special maintenance operations shall be carried out only by well-trained personnel.
FAULTS
Mechanical head (2)

6.1
Routine maintenance
WARNING!
•
Before any routine maintenance operations, if the harvesting head is assembled on the extension pole, switch
the tool off (see the power unit Manual), disconnect the power supply cable and then remove the head from the
extension pole.
All maintenance operations which are not described in this manual shall be carried out only by Authorised
•
Service Points.
Routine maintenance operations can be carried out by the operators.
6.1.1
General
Before any routine maintenance operation:
•
Select the OFF in the ON-OFF switch of the power unit.
•
Wear protective gloves.
•
Disconnect the harvesting head from the extension pole.
6.1.2
Cleaning the harvesting head
Each 200 work hours open the mechanical head (2) and remove dust and dirt having penetrated it. Check the bushings (9)
conditions and if necessary, grease them with spray grease indicated by the Manufacturer.
WARNING!
Cleaning the harvesting head means limiting frictions, which would jeopardize tool performance and work auton-
omy.
