after the measurement of its luminance, chromaticity, etc.
by using the Konica Minolta CL-200 Chroma Meter, etc.
Open the SERVICE window (page 25) and use the items

Click the RESET button.
Resetting the color space converter function allows
you to make a measurement of the projector's color
characteristics.

2 Open the INSTALLATION window (page 23) and
adjust the luminance using "LAMP POWER" and
"LAMP SELECT".
Adjust the luminance, aiming at the Y value shown
in "W" under "Target Color Gamut."
Note
The Y value for "W" under "Target Color Gamut"
refers to the Peak White Luminance value (unit: ft-L)
defined in the Digital Cinema System Specification
V1.0. You can change this target value according to
your requirements.
6
Select "Gray 8" from the Test Pattern drop-down list
to display the test pattern.
7
Measure the white point of the picture, and adjust it.
1 Use the Chroma Meter to make a measurement of
the x and y values for "W" of the picture.
2 If the measured values show a difference of more
than ±0.01 from the x and y values for "W" under
"Target Color Gamut," or you want to set the
values accurately, proceed from step 8 below.
8
Open the COLOR/FRAME window (page 22) and
select any of "CUSTOM1," "CUSTOM2,"
"CUSTOM3," and "CUSTOM4" from the Color
Temp drop-down list under "Color."
9
Open the SERVICE window (page 25) and adjust the
white point of the projector by using the Gain R and
Gain B
/
buttons under "WHITE BALANCE"
so that the difference between the measurement results
and the target values becomes less than ±0.01.
If you cannot obtain accuracy with the adjustments of
"Gain R" and "Gain B", use the adjustment of "Gain
