Residual risks
Even if the machine is used to specification and
all relevant safety regulations are followed, the
following residual safety risks may nonetheless
occur due to the design of the machine and its
usage:
- Injury from the cutting teeth when replacing
the chain.
- Injury from touching the chain on its cutting
area.
- Catching clothes in the moving chain.
- Injury from flying scraps or parts of the ma-
chine.
- Danger that may be caused by the portable
cord.
- Kickback caused by the chain or the operating
the tip of the plate jamming.
- Concentration of sawdust jeopardising health
in poorly ventilated areas.
- Injury from touching electrically charged parts
when dismantling the machine or any part of it
while the machine is still plugged in.
- Hearing damage from prolonged work without
ear protectors.

The IS 330 EB insulation saw has been tested and
is delivered in perfect condition. The oil reservoir
of the machine IS 330 EB is not filled. When the
machine is delivered, take it directly out of the
packaging and check for potential damage during
transport. Any damage caused during transport
must be reported to the carrier immediately.

The packed insulation saw can be stored in a
dry storage area without a heating, where the

the unpacked saw only in a dry closed storage
where the temperature does not drop below +5
°C, and where sudden temperature changes are
prevented.
