Residual risks

Even if the machine is used to specifi cation and
all relevant safety regulations are followed, the
following residual safety risks may nonetheless
occur due to the design of the machine and its
usage:
- Injury from the cutting teeth when replacing
the chain.
- Injury from touching the chain on its cutting
area.
- Catching clothes in the moving chain.
- Injury from fl ying scraps or parts of the ma-
chine.
- Danger that may be caused by the portable cord.
- Kickback caused by the chain or the operating
the tip of the plate jamming.
- Concentration of sawdust jeopardising health
in poorly ventilated areas.
- Injury from touching electrically charged parts
when dismantling the machine or any part of it
while the machine is still plugged in.
- Hearing damage from prolonged work without
ear protectors.

The SSU 200 EB sword saw is delivered in perfect,
tested condition, packed in a plastic systainer. The
oil reservoir of the machine SSU 200 EB is not
fi lled. When the machine is delivered, take it di-
rectly out of the packaging and check for potential
damage during transport. Any damage caused
during transport must be reported to the carrier
immediately.

The packed sword saw can be stored in a dry stor-
age area without a heating, where the temperature
does not drop bellow −5 °C. Store the unpacked
saw only in a dry closed storage where the tem-
perature does not drop below +5 °C, and where
sudden temperature changes are prevented.
