By pressing the super-steam button (4) at intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains, hung garments, etc.)

Warning: The super-steam function can only be used at high temperatures.
Stop the emission when the plate temperature control light (1) comes on, then start ironing again only when
the light goes off.

SPRAY FUNCTION

Make sure that there is water in the tank (10).
Press the spray button (3) slowly (for a dense spray) or quickly (for a vaporized spray) [Fig. G].
Warning: dampen delicate fabrics beforehand using the spray function (3), or place a damp cloth between the
iron and the fabric.
Do not use the spray on silk or synthetic fabrics.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM (WHERE PRESENT)
The anti-drip system lets you iron the most delicate fabrics that must be ironed at low temperatures.
If the plate cools down to the point where steam no longer comes out, drops of boiling water may fall on the
fabrics, leaving spots or stains on it.
This is where the Anti-Drip System comes in, stopping the formation of steam so that you can iron the most
delicate fabrics without the risk of ruining or staining them.

AFTER IRONING

EMPTYING

Disconnect the plug (13) from the socket.
Empty the water tank (10) by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
Leave the iron to cool down completely.
Wrap the cord round its wind (11) [Fig. H].
Always put the iron away in a vertical position.

MAINTENANCE

ZERO-CALC ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM

A special resin filter inside the water tank reduces water hardness and limits the formation of limescale in the
plate. The resin filter is permanent and cannot be replaced.
SELF CLEAN/CALC CLEAN SYSTEM (WHERE PRESENT)
The function cleans the inner part of the plate, removing limescale or other impurities.
We recommend using it every 10-15 days.
Fill the water tank (10) to the max level mark (8).
Move the steam selector (5) to the "0" position.
Set the control knob (2) on the maximum temperature and wait for the plate temperature control light (1) to
turn off.
Remove the plug (13) from the socket and hold the iron immediately in a horizontal position over a sink.
Move and hold the steam switch (5) on the Self-Clean/Calc-Clean setting, pressing down with your thumb until
all the boiling water, steam, impurities or limescale come out.
Once the soleplate (9) has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
