6. Operation
6.7 Weight fine-tuning
With this function, the user can adjust the displayed weight a little. There is no need for a standard
f
weight. This adjustment can only be done in the weighing mode.
Note:
(1) The scale must have been calibrated before this adjustment
(2) The range of adjustment is "(current displayed weight) x (0.9-1.1)".
That means the range is about ±10%
(3) The "CONFIG-FUNC-WT.ADJ=YES" must be set.
(4) Only an authorized manufacturer's representative or certified verification personnel are
authorized to make these changes. Changing this value alters the calibration values!
To enter this mode, turn on the terminal. After the terminal is displaying 0 weight, put a load onto the
f
scale (e.g. the correct weight is 10.0 kg), then the temrinal will display the load's weight, saying
"10.5 kg". Press [TARE/PRESET ]and [ZERO/ON/OFF] keys at the same time until the first digit
flashes. This means indicator has entered into "weight fine-tune" mode.
Use the arrow keys to input the correct weight (10.0). After having confirmed by [TARE/PRESET], the
f
active correct weight will be displayed and no any digit will be flashed. After this, the displayed weight
will be adjusted by this ratio (10.0/10.5) and this ratio will keep active until the next modification on it.
Procedure for the removal of this ratio's effect:

Move away weight on scale, press [ZERO/ON/OFF] to let 0 be displayed. Put a load onto the scale. A a
number will be displayed, suppose it's 10.0 kg. Press [TARE/PRESET] and [ZERO/ON/OFF] at same
time until first digit flashes. This means the terminal has entered into "weight fine-tune" mode.
Press [HOLD/SETUP] key. The displayed weight will be restored to 10.5 kg. Then press [TARE/
PRESET] to confirm and exit to the normal weighing mode.
