6. Operation

6.1 Normal weighing mode

Note:
During key operation, please note to use the second function of one key need pressing the key over 3
seconds. To input data or select menu, use arrow keys to process
Power on/off terminal:
f
Power on: When terminal is off, press [ZERO/ON/OFF] key short to turn on.
Power off: When terminal is on, press [ZERO/ON/OFF] key long to turn off.
Zero:
f
When the reading is stable and within the zero range, press [ZERO/ON/OFF] key to set new zero point.
Please refer to the Zero and Tare limitations in the chart below.
Tare:
f
When the gross weight is bigger than zero and the scale is stable, press [TARE/PRESET] key.
The terminal will show net weight of zero and the NET symbol will be lighted.
Please refer to the Zero and Tare limitations in the chart below.
Preset tare weight:
f
Press [TARE/PRESET] key long, then „Pr.Tare" will be shown and the „Tare" symbol flashes. The scale
is in Tare weight mode now. Use the arrow keys to input tare weight. The unit will be the same as
before. There is no limitation to preset tare weight, but it should be bigger than zero.
After having input a tare weight, the NET symbol will be lighted.
Note:
This terminal can only save one tare weight. The new tare weight will automatically replace the old one.

Clear tare weight:

Remove any weight from the platform, wait until the scale is stable, press [TARE/PRESET] key short.

Limitations to Zero and Tare operations under different conditions:

ZERO is only active, when scale is stable and weight is in setting range.
