The LEDs will show the current charge level in 25% incre-
ments from right to left for 5 seconds.

CHECK THE RANGE EXTENDER STATE
OF HEALTH
The lithium-ion batteries state of health is affected by the
number of charging cycles and the use, charge and stor-
age conditions during their lifetime.
Under normal conditions, if the recommendations of use,
charge and storage described in this manual are observed,
the RS batteries may see their lifetime or capacity reduced
by 20% after 500 complete charge cycles.
This state of health assumption refers to bat-
teries under ideal conditions. This can be af-
fected by their use, storage and charge under
very cold conditions, by storing the batteries
for long periods of time without restoring the
charge level, by using the batteries repeated-
ly with very low charge levels, etc.
To know your Range Extender state of health, connect the
battery to a compatible bicycle (the bicycle will turn itself
off if it was on) and turn the bicycle on with the Range
Extender connected.
The four Range Extender LEDs will light from right to left
and then will blink showing the current battery state of
health for 2 seconds. After that they will show the current
charge level and will turn off.

LED ERROR CODES
If the Range Extender does not hold or accept charge
or it does not provide power to the motor,press once
the battery main button. If there is a recognized error in the
battery, the LEDs will show the error code. Consult
the table below to know the error and its troubleshooting
method.

In the next table, when the text "Contact
Orbea" is mentioned, it refers to the action
an Orbea dealer must take when diagnosing
a battery.
If an user is not able to solve an error or
malfunction of the Range Extender following
the table below, he must contact and author-
ized Orbea dealer, who will process a claim
through Orbea and inform the user of the
claim process.
SOLUTION
Wait until the temperature is inside the usable range.
Restart the bike before trying to use the battery again.

and charging port for debris, humidity or
foreign objects.
