2. Set the supplemental gas flow to 15 liters per minute for the adult and child models; and to 10 l/m for
the infant model.
3. Cycle the Resuscitator through several ventilations. The test lung should inflate during inspiration and
deflate during exhalation. Check for leakage at all joints and connections. Ensure that the Resuscitator
refills promptly and properly and that all valves are operating correctly. If not, repeat the tests above to
find where the problem lies.
