USING THE CHARGER FOR THE FIRST TIME

Connect the charger to a 12 V lead-acid battery. Take great care to maintain correct pola-
rity (red = positive / black = negative).
You can now select the language to be employed in the menus when the charger is in
use. Press the '+' or '-' button repeatedly to call up the available languages, which are as
follows:
• German (DEUTSCH)
• French (FRANCAIS)
• Italian (ITALIANO)
• Spanish (ESPANIOL)
• English (ENGLISH)
Press the 'ENTER' button to conclude the process; the Start display shown above now
appears.

WORKING DISPLAY

During a charge or discharge process this display keeps the user informed of all the essen-
tial data. The top line shows the status indicator, i.e. the type of process ('C' for charge,
D' for discharge, 'F' for finish, and - with Lithium batteries - 'B' for balance); the charged-in
or discharged capacity is also shown, together with the time elapsed since the start of
