2.4
Fluids hazardous to health
Hazardous germs may form in stagnant waters (e.g. pump sumps, soakaways, etc.).
There is a danger of bacterial infections! Thoroughly clean and disinfect the device
after disassembly and prior to further use. Wear the following protective equipment
during removal and cleaning:
▪ Sealed safety goggles
▪ Breathing protection
Minimum requirements in accordance with EN 149: Protection class FFP2
▪ Protective gloves
Minimum requirements in accordance with EN ISO 374-1: Type C
DANGER! Instruct all persons of the type of pumping fluid and disinfectants, their
associated dangers, and correct handling!
2.5
Use in waste water facilities
These installation and operating instructions refer to domestic use of the product in
buildings and on properties. The following applies for use in waste water facilities:
▪ Additional specifications and guidelines for your own safety must be adhered to.
▪ Users must receive relevant training and instruction from the operator of the waste
water facilities.
DANGER! These installation and operating instructions do not contain the inform-
ation necessary to use the product in waste water facilities. Contact customer
service if the product is to be used in waste water facilities. The customer service
team has been trained to carry out this type of work. The customer service team
can correctly install and commission the product!
2.6
Transport
▪ Wear protective gloves!
Minimum requirements in accordance with EN 388, category II: 3131X
▪ Always carry the product by the handle. Never pull it by the connection cable!
▪ Retain the original cardboard box for transport at a later point.
CAUTION! Soaked packaging may rip and does not provide an adequate amount of
protection! If unprotected, the product may fall on the ground and be irreparably
damaged. Carefully lift wet packaging and replace it immediately!

The minimum requirement is a thermal relay/motor protection switch with temper-
ature compensation, differential protection relay and an anti-reactivation device in
accordance with the local regulations.
