5.8 Ripping
Use the following procedure when ripping after
scoring:
1.
Place the machine with the saw unit in its
starting position onto the workpiece.
The saw unit must be in front of the front

edge of the workpiece.
2.
Align the machine so that the right edge of the
guide rail marks the desired cut.
3.
Set the cutting depth.

Set the cutting length.

5.
Use the plunge bar 4 to press the saw unit into
the cutting position until it engages with the
clamping lever 6.
6.
Set the feed speed.
See also chapter 5.4 Setting the feed

speed.
7.
Switch the saw drive on by pressing the rocker
switch 3 forwards.
8.
Make the cut until the saw unit stops at the stop
slide 16.
The saw blade automatically returns from

the cutting position to the home position.
