Sealing variants
Parallel threads
Seal the sealing face  with flat gasket, lens-
type sealing ring or WIKA profile sealing.
Tapered threads
Wrap threads with sealing material
(e.g. PTFE tape).
Due to the high density of SF₆ gas, it is essential to take into account the height difference
between the calibration case and the mounted leakage detection system during the
measurement. The optional altimeter must be used in order to determine the height
difference between the case and the test item. Then enter the height difference in the field
"Height difference" (1).
The more accurately the actual temperature of the test item and the actual height
difference (1) between the calibration case and the test item are entered, the more
precise and meaningful the recalibration process will be.

