5.8.1 Model GDM-100

In addition to the test at the local control cabinet (LCC) or at the relay housing, a test can
be carried out directly at the cable socket of the density monitor.
Two common cable socket designs are offered for model GDM-100.
With the cable socket with screw connection, the wires of the test kit can be connected
directly.
With the connector version, the upper body must first be plugged in before the strands
can be connected.

The assignment of the cable socket with the corresponding switching function can be
found on the product label on the instrument or in the order details.
Example:
The first number after the name of the switch point and the pressure unit at 20 °C refers to
the contact return line (for PS1 this would be 1). The second number (for PS1 this would
be 2) on the supply line. Switch points PS1 and PS2 are falling making and PS3 rising
making.
PS1 = 4.2 bar @ 20 °C 1-2 → Connect 1B to pin 1 and 1A to pin 2
PS2 = 4.0 bar @ 20 °C 3-4 → Connect 2B to pin 3 and 2A to pin 4
PS3 = 5.2 bar @ 20 °C 5-6 → Connect 3B to pin 5 and 3A to pin 6
