6.1.1 Cleaning the weighing pan and drip tray

The racks, adapters, sample vessels, andHome position
cover are removed from the drive ring.
One side tunnel is open and the front draft shield is
removed.
1 Hold the drive ring (1) and lift it up above the weighing
pan hooks.
2 Remove the weighing pan (2).
3 Remove the drip tray (3).
4 Put down the drive ring.
5 Clean the weighing pan and the drip tray.
6 Reassemble all parts in reverse order.

6.1.2 Cleaning the tunnel, racks, and rings

For thorough cleaning, further components can be removed from the instrument. Clean the parts with a mild
household cleaning agent, as required. Do not use cleaning agents containing abrasive components.
Disassembling the sample changer and cleaning
The side tunnels are open and the front draft shield is
removed.
1 Remove each side tunnel. Slightly spread the sides of the
arch apart and lift.
2 Remove the back tunnel.
3 Remove the racks, the Home position cover, and the
drive ring.
4 If necessary, remove the weighing pan and the drip tray.
5 Clean the tunnel, the drive ring, and the racks.
6 If necessary, clean the weighing pan and the drip tray.
7 Wipe the base ring.
Reassembling the sample changer
1 Install the drip tray.
2 Install the weighing pan.
3 Install the drive ring and the Home position cover.
4 If necessary, install the racks.
5 Install the back tunnel.
6 Install each side tunnel. Make sure that each tunnel
wheel (1) is under the base ring.
7 Install the front draft shield.
