Cleaning and replacing the
HEPA filter
ATTENTION
Incorrect cleaning of the HEPA filter
Damage to the HEPA filter
Do not wash the HEPA filter.
Do not clean the HEPA filter in a wash-
ing machine.
Do not dry the HEPA filter with a hair
dryer.
The HEPA filter ensures clean exhaust
air.
 Clean the HEPA filter if it is visibly
dirty.
 Replace the HEPA filter if it is visibly
damaged.
1. Turn the cover counterclockwise so
that the marking points to the un-
locking symbol.
2. Remove the HEPA filter.
3. Carefully empty/knock dirt out of the
HEPA filter.
4. Insert the HEPA filter.
5. Turn the cover clockwise so that the
marking points to the locking sym-
bol.

Cleaning the floor nozzle

The switchable floor nozzle must be
cleaned at regular intervals.

1. Remove the floor nozzle from the
telescopic pipe.
2. Clean the floor nozzle.

Cleaning accessories

The handle and suction hose can be
separated for cleaning or when
clogged.
1. Press both unlocking buttons.
2. Pull the handle and suction hose
apart.
3. Join the handle and suction hose by
pressing them together until they
latch into place.

Troubleshooting guide

Malfunctions often have simple causes
that you can remedy yourself using the
following overview. When in doubt, or
in the case of malfunctions not men-
tioned here, please contact your autho-
rized Customer Service.
Declining suction performance
Accessories, suction hose or suction
pipes are clogged.
 Remove the clogged material with a
suitable aid.
The motor protection filter and / or the
HEPA filter are dirty or damaged.
 Replace the old motor protection fil-
ter with a new one.
 Clean the HEPA filter or replace it
with a new one if visibly damaged.
