The safety data sheets and information provided by the gas manufacturers must be
observed.
Before commissioning the pressure regulator, make absolutely sure that the gas
type, the gas volume flow range and the connection are correct and that any
en
upstream or downstream equipment has been fitted securely.
Not suitable as a drive for surgical equipment.
Only accessories bearing the CE mark that are compatible with the pressure
regulator both in terms of intended use and connection may be used (see Section
"Combination with downstream equipment").
To avoid misunderstandings, never leave the appliance unattended or connected to
downstream equipment when it is not in use.
Never try to open the appliance since this could result in the release of spring-loaded
parts which might cause injury.
To avoid the risk of infection or bacterial contamination, please read and observe the
information in the Section "Maintenance and care".

lubricants during operation or storage. Oil and grease, as found for example in hand
creams, can react violently with pressurised gases (especially oxygen and nitrous
oxide). Risk of explosion!
Smoking and naked flames are strictly forbidden in the vicinity of valves and fittings
carrying gas.
Always proceed with caution when opening the cylinder valve.
The pressure regulator connections must match those on the gas supply or
downstream equipment. Adapters must not be used.
The compressed gas cylinder must be secured at all times so that it cannot tip over.
Make sure that the temperature of the gas administered corresponds to the
patient's body temperature. Risk of injury to the patient.
