INSTRUCTIONS FOR Lithonia Lighting TCC
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. The sign DOES NOT operate:
a) If the charge indicator light is OFF — Check the circuit breaker and validate the AC supply voltage is present. Also
verify that the pairs of red & black wires are properly connected to the lamp/charger board (see wiring diagram).
b) If the charge indicator light is Red - Check that the battery is properly connected.
2. If local lampheads are not working in Test or Emergency mode and sign is luminated check to make sure lamphead
harnesses are properly inserted into the lamp/charger board.
3. If remote lamps are connected to the equipment and are not working:
a) Turn OFF the AC supply, disconnect battery and disconnect the remote circuit wires from the equipment.
b) Reconnect battery, turn ON the AC supply and depress the test switch.
a) If the local lamps (mounted on the equipment itself) come ON, then check the remote circuit for short or
overload condition and correct as required. Reconnect the circuit wires and restore AC power and battery
connection.
b) If the local lamps don't turn ON after disconnecting the remote circuit wires, then replace battery.
c)
If the previous step does not resolve the problem, unit may need to be replaced.
