2) Loosen looper drvng shaft gude setscrew 5 and
move up and down looper drvng shaft gude 4 to
adjust so that the space between the needle and
the left/rght loopers becomes the same when the
needle s brought to ts outsde lowest poston or
nsde lowest poston. Tghten setscrew 5 .
3) Place tmng gauge 2 on tmng gauge support base
1 suppled wth the machne and adjust usng looper
drvng cam 3 so that the left looper blade pont
algns wth the center of the needle when the needle
bar ascends 3.3 mm from the nsde lowest poston,
and fix lower shaft sprocket setscrews 6 .
4) Smlarly, check the poston of the needle and the
looper blade pont when the needle bar ascends
3.3 mm from the outsde lowest poston. The
blade pont s postoned approxmately n the
range of the left sde of the needle. When t s
outsde the range, check agan steps 2) and 3).
1. After performing the looper timing
a d j u s t m e n t , w h e n t h e s t i t c h b i t e
width is changed in case of 1 to 3
described below, perform steps 1) to 4)
whenever the case occurs.
1 When the stitch bite width in terms
of that at the time of looper timing
adjustment is changed more than ±
0.3 mm.
Even when the change of the stitch
bite width is within ±0.3 mm :
2 When the stitch bite width is more
than 3.4 mm.

materials or overlapped section
where needle is apt to be bent.
2. There are two kinds of timing gauges 2 .
• With engraved marker "32021404" for
S/R/J/C types
• Without engraved marker for T type
