1. Die Anhängevorrichtung auspacken und die Befestigungsteile auf Vollständigkeit
überprüfen.
Im Bereich der Befestigungspunkte den Unterbodenschutz entfernen.
2. Den Stoßfänger demontieren:
- die Heckklappe öffnen
- die Rücklichter demontieren: 2 Kunststoffmuttern im Kofferraum entfernen
- an dem entfernten Rücklicht 1 metall Mutter vom Stoßfänger demontieren
- 1 Kunststoffklips in beiden Radschutzkästen demontieren und die
Radschutzkastenverkleidung beiseite drücken. Die darüber befindliche metall
Schraube entfernen
- an der Unterseite des Stoßfängers 4 metall Schrauben und 2 Muttern demontieren
- den Stoßfänger entfernen
3. Die Aufkleber an den Löchern „E" und „H" der Chassisrahmen entfernen.
4. Den Innenstoßfänger und 2 Aluminium-Füllblocke demontieren.
Der Innenstoßfänger und 8 Schrauben werden wiederverwendet.
Die Aluminium-Füllblocke werden nicht mehr benötigt!
5. Den Querträger „1" mit 2 M6 Muttern und Karosseriescheiben an den Löchern „A" und
„B" montieren. Die Muttern festziehen. Handhaben Sie hierbei die Anzugsmomente
gemäß Seite 1.
6. Die Stütze „4" montieren:
- mit 1 Schraube M10x35, Federring und Unterlegscheibe an das Loch „E"
- mit 2 Schrauben M12x40, Federringen, Unterlegscheiben und Muttern an den
Löchern „F"
7. Die Stütze „5" montieren:
- mit 1 Schraube M10x35, Federring und Unterlegscheibe an das Loch „G"
- mit 2 Schrauben M12x40, Federringen, Unterlegscheiben und Muttern an den
Löchern „H"
8. Den Innenstoßfänger, zusammen mit Füllplatten „2" und „3", an den Löchern „C" und
„D" wieder montieren. Die 8 vorhandenen Muttern benützen.
9. Die Steckdosenhalteplatte gemäß Detail montieren.
10. Die Kugelaufnahme an den Löchern „I" und „J" und Steckdosenhalteplatte an das
Loch „I" montieren:
- mit 1 Schraube M12x100(10.9) und selbstsichernder Mutter (Loch „J")
- mit 1 Schraube M12x110(10.9), Unterlegscheibe und selbstsichernder
Mutter (Loch „I")
11. Die Anhängevorrichtung festziehen. Handhaben Sie hierbei die Anzugsmomente
gemäß Seite 1.
12. Alle in Punkt 2 entfernten Teile wieder montieren.

1. Unpack the towing bracket and check its contents against the parts list. If necessary,
remove the underseal from around the fitting points of the luggage compartment/frame
members.
2. Dismount the bumper:
- open the tailgate
- dismount the rearlight units: remove 2 synthetic nuts in the boot
- dismount, at the removed rearlight units, 1 steel nut from the bumper
- dismount 1 synthetic clip in the LH and RH wheel arch and fold the wheel arch lining
aside. Dismount the steel screw at the top.
- dismount at the lower side of the bumper 4 steel screws and 2 nuts
- loosen the bumper
3. Remove at the holes "E" and "H" the stickers from the frame members.
4. Dismount the inside bumper and the 2 aluminium filling blocks.
The inside bumper and 8 bolts will be reused.
The aluminium filling blocks will no longer be used!
5. Mount crossbar "1" at the holes "A" and "B" using 2 M6 nuts including large washers. Attach
the nuts. Use the tightening tolerances as shown on page 1.
6. Mount support "4":
- using 1 M10x35 bolt, including spring washer and plain washer at hole "E"
- using 2 M12x40 bolts, including spring washers, plain washers and nuts at the holes "F"
7. Mount support "5":
- using 1 M10x35 bolt, including spring washer and plain washer at hole "G"
- using 2 M12x40 bolts, including spring washers, plain washers and nuts at the holes "H"
8. Remount the inside bumper including the spacers "2" and "3" at the holes "C" and "D". Use
the 8 existing bolts.
9. Mount the socket plate as shown in detail.
10. Mount the ball support at the holes "I" and "J" and the socketplate at hole "I" using:
- 1 M12x100(10.9) bolt including lock nut (hole "J")
- 1 M12x110(10.9) bolt including plain washer and lock nut (hole "I")
11. Attach the towbar. Use the tightening tolerances as shown on page 1.
12. Replace all in point 2 removed parts.
