5.2 Wiring preparation
IMPORTANT: Cutting off a connector to the appliance,
blower, or to the extension cable kit will void the warranty.
Ensure wiring does not interfere with optional chimney
duct cover, where the cover touches the wall.
Ceiling cutout
The junction box is located on the top right side of the
¡
hood.
Wiring should enter at least 20" (508 mm) above the
¡
bottom of the installation height.
Prepare the wire hole cutout in the ceiling with a ⅝"
¡
(16 mm) diameter clearance hole for a ½" (12.7 mm)
conduit to the junction box.
