D. Microprocessor:
The microprocessor keeps total control over the exhaust flow and impulsion flow via the
thermoanemometer probe.
The microprocessor control system consists of:
Backlight graphic display.
Alarms shown on the display:
ALARM
Excessive laminar down flow
Insufficient laminar down flow
Excessive inflow
Insufficient inflow
Front open / Glass out of working position
Redundant channel alarm
Power supply failure
Memory fail
Messages shown on the display:
MESSAGE
Fans at reduced speed
E. Auxiliary microprocessor or redundant circuit.
Should the main microprocessor fail, the auxiliary microprocessor will activate the optical
alarm, and also the acoustic alarm. In such a case, slide the glass to the closed position and
cover the cabinet exhaust. Disconnect the equipment and contact the Telstar Technical
Service.
4.6.
DISCONNECTION
To stop the cabinet, it is necessary to push the On/Off button (Annex A3 pos. 1) to access
the Password Request screen (Chapter 4.5 point 1). After entering the correct password,
the cabinet will disconnect.
4.7.
PROLONGED STOPPAGE
In the event of a prolonged stoppage, avoid environmental dust to go inside the cabinet by
turning the cabinet off with the glass in the closed position. When it is switched on again,
proceed like the first time it was switched on. See Chapters 3.3 and 4.1.
