Playback

Using the B PLAY button or through a search
operation, you can view the recorded images.
Once the playback starts, you may also select high-
speed or slow-motion playback in both the forward and
backward directions, still-picture playback, and frame-
by-frame playback in both the forward and backward
directions.
The pre-reverse playback function permits you to
check the recorded picture without stopping recording
in progress.

48(GB).

Normal Playback

Press the B PLAY button.
The indicator of the button lights, and playback of
pictures recorded on the normal recording area begins
from the oldest recording or the position you have
stopped previous playback operation.
When playback reaches the last of the recorded
pictures, the unit automatically enters Still-Picture
mode.
For playback of the alarm recording area and archive area,
see "Picture Searching" on page 48(GB).
Playback of audio
If audio has been recorded, it will be played only when
the unit is set to a split-screen mode.
Note that audio cannot be played back in variable-
speed playback.
To stop playback
Press the x STOP button.
The display switches to the current input image.

Note
In the following operations, the playback picture may
be distorted or temporarily frozen. But these are not
malfunction.
• When the normal recording area and alarm recording
area are played back continuously, the picture may be
distorted at the moment when the areas are switched.
• When you perform normal playback, or high-speed
forward or reverse playback while alarm recording is
in progress or while the normal recording area and
alarm recording area are played back continuously,
the picture may be sometimes frozen.
Zooming on the playback picture
By pressing the ZOOM button, you can zoom to the
center part of the playback picture.
The area to zoom can be changed in the same manner
as when you monitor an camera input.

a picture" on page 20(GB).
Displaying the playback picture in
addition to live pictures
You may view the playback picture simultaneously
with live camera inputs by setting the screen to a
divided-screen mode.

Press the MULTI button to set the unit to 9-
division or 16-division mode.

Press the B PLAY button.
The playback picture appears on a divided screen.

Press the OPTION button.
The OPTION button flashes, and the lower right
block of the monitor becomes the option screen.

Press the OPTION button again.
The option screen shows the playback picture, and
the other divisions show live pictures.

To change the playback channel, press one of the
INPUT SELECTOR buttons.
The playback pictture of the selected channel is
displayed on the option screen.
