REPLACING THE GEARS / CONNECTING ROD
Always Follow the pressure relief procedures before a�emp�ng to service an airless pump. See Page 47.
If the troubleshoo�ng guide suggests replacing the gears or the connec�ng rod, follow the instruc�ons below.
1. Remove 4 SCREWS #1, Diagram B, and remove the FRONT COVER #10 Diagram B.
2. While using a pair of needle-nosed pliers to hold the TRANSDUCER body from turning, loosen the TRANSDUCER NUT
#15 Diagram C from PUMP COMPLETE #35, Diagram A, with a ¾" open end wrench. Slide the TRANSDUCER out of
the back of the PUMP COMPLETE.
3. Remove the 4 SCREWS #1, Diagram B and remove the REAR PLATE #2, Diagram B.
4. Remove 2 HEX BOLTS #25, Diagram A, from the CRANK HOUSING #8, Diagram A.
5. Turn the FAN #10, Diagram B, in either direc�on to lower the PUMP HOUSING un�l you clear the two alignment pins.
6. Slide the PUMP HOUSING forward off the CONNECTING ROD #11, Diagram B, and set aside.
7. Remove 4 SCREWS #9, Diagram B, and remove the CRANK HOUSING #8, Diagram B from the MOTOR / GEARBOX #5,

8. Remove the CONNECTING ROD from the CRANK HOUSING.
9. Remove the CRANK SHAFT #6 and REDUCER GEAR #12, Diagram B and inspect for any possible damage.
10. Inspect the CONNECTING ROD slide bearing in the CRANK HOUSING. If damaged, replace the CRANK HOUSING.
11. Install the CONNECTING ROD into the slide bearing in the CRANK HOUSING.
12. Install the CRANKSHAFT #6 , THRUST WASHER #7 and the REDUCER GEAR #12, Diagram B, into the MOTOR Gearbox
#5, Diagram B.
13. When aligning the CONNECTING ROD to the CRANK SHAFT, set the CRANK HOUSING with the CRANKSHAFT already
inserted onto the MOTOR Gearbox. Align the CONNECTING ROD with the CRANKSHAFT. Turn the FAN if needed to
assist with alignment.
14. Install 4 SCREWS #9, Diagram B, through the CRANK HOUSING into the MOTOR / gearbox and alternately �ghten the
screws.
15. Posi�on the PUMP COMPLETE so the piston slot aligns with the CONNECTING ROD receiver slot. Turn the fan to draw
the PUMP COMPLETE up to and over the alignment pins on the bo�om of the CRANK HOUSING.
16. Install 2 HEX BOLTS, through the PUMP COMPLETE into the CRANK HOUSING. Tighten the HEX BOLTS with a ¾" open
end wrench.
17. Install FRONT COVER onto the front of the CRANK HOUSING with 4 SCREWS, #1, Diagram B.
18. Install REAR PLATE onto the MOTOR COVER with 4 SCREWS, #1, Diagram B.
