REPLACE TRANSDUCER
Follow pressure relief procedure before aempng to service or repair unit. See Page 47.
If trouble shoong guide suggests replacing the transducer, follow the direcons below.
1. Remove 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C, from the Controller Assembly plate, (Potenometer side of plate).
2. Remove 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B, from the MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B, and remove MOTOR COVER.
3. Unplug the TRANSDUCER wire (gray) from the Circuit Board. While using a pair of needle nose pliers to hold
the TRANSDUCER body form turning, loosen the TRANSDUCER nut #15, Diagram C, from the PUMP
HOUSING #9, Diagram A, with a ¾" open end wrench. Slide the TRANSDUCER out of the back of the PUMP
HOUSING.
4. Remove the GROMMET SLEEVE #16, Diagram B, by pulling it back towards the inside of the Controller
Assembly (pull it towards the Circuit Board).
5. With GROMMET SLEEVE removed from Controller Assembly plate, slide it over the TRANSDUCER lead wire
unl the connector exits through the GROMMET SLEEVE.
6. Pull the TRANSDUCER lead and connector through the Controller Assembly plate.
7. To install the new TRANSDUCER, begin by sliding the connector through the CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY plate,
then through the GROMMET SLEEVE while GROMMET SLEEVE is in the Control Board compartment.
8. Slide the GROMMET SLEEVE through the Controller Assembly plate unl seated.
9. Posion the TRANSDUCER nut #15, Diagram C into the PUMP HOUSING #9, Diagram A. Make sure the
O-RING is on the end of the TRANSDUCER body. Begin threading the TRANSDUCER nut into the PUMP
HOUSING.
10. While using a pair of needle hose pliers to hold the TRANSDUCER body for turning, ghten the
TRANSDUCER nut into PUMP HOUSING #9, Diagram A, with a ¾" open end wrench.
11. Plug the TRANSDUCER (gray) lead back into the Circuit Board connector JP4.
12. Install MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B back onto the assembly. Install 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C, through
the Control Plate (Potenometer side of plate).
13. Install 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B into MOTOR gearbox casng #5, Diagram B to complete reassembly.
