REPLACE POTENTIOMETER
Follow pressure relief procedure before aempng to service or repair unit. See Page 47.
If trouble shoong guide suggests replacing the potenometer, follow the direcons below.
1. Remove 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C, from CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY plate (Potenometer side of plate)
2. Remove 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B, from MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B, and remove MOTOR COVER.
3. Disconnect POTENTIOMETER #5, Diagram B, from Circuit Board.
4. Using a small blade screwdriver, loosen the set screw on the side of the Potenometer KNOB #7,
Diagram C, and slide the KNOB off the potenometer sha.
5. Remove the ROTARY SEAL Nut #6, Diagram C, from the POTENTIOMETER mount. Remove the
POTENTIOMETER from the CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY.
6. On the replacement POTENTIOMETER, install frost a nut and then a lock washer onto the POTENTIOMETER
mount threads and adjust the nut down to the lowest posion.
7. Place the POTENTIOMETER back into the CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY. The POTENTIOMETER leads should face
the base of the CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY plate (facing towards the motor).
8. Install the ROTARY SEAL onto the POTENTIOMETER mount ghten snug. Using a needle nose or thin wrench
on the inside nut (the nut nearest the potenometer body) ghten this nut unl POTENTIOMETER is
secure.
9. Plug the POTENTIOMETER connector back into the Circuit Board. See Diagram D/E.
10. Install MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B, back onto the assembly. Install 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C through
the Control Plate (Potenometer side of the plate).
11. Install 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B into the MOTOR gearbox casng #5, Diagram B to complete reassembly.
REPLACE ON/OFF SWITCH
Follow pressure relief procedure before aempng to service or repair unit.
If trouble shoong guide suggests replacing the on/off switch, follow the direcons below.
1. Remove 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C, from CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY plate (Potenometer side of plate).
2. Remove 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B, from MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B, and remove MOTOR COVER.
3. Remove 2 SCREWS #10, Diagram C, and remove COVER #9, Diagram c.
4. Disconnect the connecons to the CIRCUIT BREAKER #8, Diagram c.
5. Push CIRCUIT BREAKER forward through the control plate.
6. Install replacement CIRCUIT BREAKER into the control plate. The 0 (OFF) is on the boom of the switch.
7. Reconnect the wires to the CIRCUIT BREAKER, see Diagram D/E.
8. Place COVER #9, Diagram C, in posion and make sure that 0 (OFF) is down. Secure the cover in place with
2 SCREWS #10, Diagram C.
9. Install MOTOR COVER #3, Diagram B, back onto the assembly. Install 2 SCREWS #12, Diagram C, through
the Control Plate (Potenometer side of plate).
10. Install 3 SCREWS #1, Diagram B, into MOTOR gearbox casng #5, Diagram B to complete reassembly.
