18. Be sure to reassemble the parts in their
original locations. Substitute any damaged
part with new ones.
In case of power lines' or pipes' installation,
be sure that they don't get damaged by
vibrations and by contacting other parts
while using the machine.
19. NEVER insert hands or fingers in order to
control the lineup between two holes.
20. To lift heavy components (over 25kg), use
appropriate vehicles (pulley, crane, forklift
truck, etc.)
Control that metal ropes, chains or strips
are not worn-out and that hooks are not
damaged.
21. Do not work on parts or groups which are
suspended (on the pulley, crane, etc.).
22. During installation and/or during assembly,
always use tightening torques as shown
in the general tables. In cases of specific
information, the suitable tightening torques
will be specifically indicated and they need
to be absolutely respected.
Any machine tampering, any installation,
assembly or maintenance performed
incorrectly exempts KARCHER from any
responsibility and makes the worker
himself the only guilty against the
competent bodies.
2.a - PRECAUTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY/
DISASSEMBLY OPERATIONS
23*. Stick to what is describe in the current
manual. In case the operation to be
performed is not reported, please contact
the manufacturer's support service.
24*. Do not remove the protective casings of
the electronic file without disconnecting
the power supply upstream the machine.
Replace the casings before electrically
supply the machine.
25*. Before removing a component from
the machine, control the alignment's
references that show the correct assembly
position. Possibly add further flags in
order to avoid an incorrect assembly.
26*. During connectors dismantling, always
firmly hold them to avoid to force on

some signs on the electric cables and
on the pipes to avoid exchanges during
assembly.
27*. Tighten dices and bolts with the specified
tightening torques.
28*. Assemble the flexible hoses and the wiring
harness paying attention to not get them
tangled or twisted.
29*. When assembling the electrical
installation's connectors, remove grease,
dust or water that could have penetrated
through contacts and therefore solidly
anchor them; when planned, force the
connectors until the anti-detachment
click.
30*. Technicians and their partners are
forbidden to spread, reproduce or
communicate the notions reported here to
third parties without a written permission
of the Manufacturer which is its exclusive
owner and reserves the right to act under
current legislation to protect his rights.
31*. For information clarity, some illustrations
in the current manual show the machine
without guards or protective casing.

32*. Locate the machine outside danger
zones. Danger zones are, for example,
the fuel's service areas; in particular:
a. the machine cannot be placed under
a 3 meters distance from the fuel
dispensing columns and from the fuel
tanks' venting columns.
