9.
POSITIONING
9.a - PREPARATION
The Costumer needs to prepare the area where the machine
will be installed according to the shown layout (fig. 5).
The area must respect what is indicated by
the current standards and what is indicated in
paragraph "2".
9.b - MACHINE FIXING
To fix the machine to the floor are needed dowels suitable for
the foundation (T).
Remove the bottom door (3).
Align the machine horizontally (spirit level).
Correctly tighten the dowels to fix permanently
and safely the machine.
Make sure the electric power cord (A) is long enough to be able
to perform the connection with ease.
Make the electric power cord (A) pass through the intended
spaces between the base and the vertical supports on the most
opportune side.
After its connection, make sure the electric
power cord (A) is not bent anymore (fig.7).
9.c - MAT HOLDER ASSEMBLY
If the machine is equipped with a carpet holder (20), install it
as follows:
-
Unpack the carpet holder (20).
-
Choose one side of the machine and loosen the four screws
already on the side panels.
-
Place the carpet holder (20) on the screws.
-
Secure the carpet holder (20) by tightening the four screws.
9.d - RAIN PROTECTION KIT ASSEMBLY
(FIG. 5b)
If the machine is equipped with a rain kit (21), install it as follows:
-
Unscrew the knobs (54) (Fig. 41).
-
Remove the upper casing (2).
-
Unpack the rain protection kit (21).
-
Loosen the five screws shown in the figure.
-
Position the rain kit (21).
-
Secure the rain kit (21) by tightening the five screws.
-
Reposition the upper casing (2) and secure it by tightening
the knobs (54) (Fig. 46).
-
Close the right (4) and left (16) side doors.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
ATTENTION !
Before making the electrical connection
be sure that the switch-disconnector
upstream the machine is open ("OFF"
position).
Electric shock danger ! ! ! !
Be sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to what is reported on the machine's rating
label and in the "Technical characteristics"
paragraph.

Open the right door (4).
-
Open the junction box (40).
-
Insert the power cable (A) into the bottom cable gland (41).
-
Tighten the cable gland (41).
-
Link the power cables (A) to the terminal (42).
Respect the colours coupling.
-
When the link is accomplished close the junction box (40).

MACHINE TESTING
-
After installing and linking the machine, proceed to its
testing.
Be sure that the switch-disconnector placed
upstream the machine is closed ("ON" position).
-
Remove the right door (4) (Fig.9).
-
Rotate the general switch (14) to "ON"; the indicator light (6)
turns on (Fig.9).
-
Reposition the right door (4) (Fig.9).
If the machine is turned off, inserting the token/
coin in the coin/token device it will be expelled.
Use the machine with both of the doors
locked.
-
Use the machine operating like is described in paragraph "12".
-
Be sure that the machine works correctly.
-
Remove the protection films from the lateral panels (fig.10).
To facilitate the operation, is advised to pull the protection film
in the direction of the arrows on it.
