15.b - BRUSH REPLACEMENT
At least ever 100 hours of functioning or
at most every 2000 cycles it's necessary
to proceed to the brush replacement (19).
Before replacing the brush (19) it is necessary to remove the
belt (58) (see the paragraph "Belt replacement").
After extracting the belt (58), work as follows:
a. Remove the collection tank (18) (fig.27).
b. Undo the four socket screws (34a) of the plate (34) (fig.28).
Unscrew the two screws (35a) which fix the brackets (35)
c.
(fig.29).
d. With one hand, hold the brush group (36) and remove one
of the brackets (35) with the other (fig.30).
e. Remove the brush group (36) (fig.31).
Undo the socket screws (34a) on both sides

before undoing the screws (35a) of the
brackets (35).
During removal of the brackets (35), support

the brush group (36) through the specific
handles (28).

15.a - ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

For the correct functioning of the machine it's necessary to
make some cleaning and maintenance operations.
-
In the following table are indicated the ordinary maintenance
operations with an indication about the frequency at which they
need to be performed.
- A failure to clean the filtering systems,
the intake tube and the lance may
compromise correct operation of the
machine, even making it idle.
- The machine ordinary maintenance is
borne by the manager of the plant; the
lack of ordinary maintenance voids the
machine warranty.

e. Place the brush group (36) on an worktable.
f. Unscrew the two grub screws (37) from one of the two supports
(15a) (fig.32).
g. Remove one of the two supports (15) by unscrewing the related
bolts (38) (fig.33).
h. Withdraw the shaft (39) (fig.34).
i. The brush (19), composed of two halves, can be replaced.
l. Mount the new brush by following the operations described
previously in the opposite order.
15.c - SUPPORTS LUBRICATION
At least every 100 hours of operation or every 2000 cycles
at maximum it is necessary to lubricate the bearings of the
supports (15) of the brush (19).
a. Open the right (4) and left (16) lateral doors (fig. 35).
b. Connect a greasing gun (L) (not provided) to the greasers on
the supports (15) (fig. 35).
Apply a modest quantity of grease to avoid that
the latter leaks soiling the machine.
