7.2 TROUBLE-SHOOTING

TROUBLE
The machine does not start (STOP
pushbutton ON without active
alarms)
The machine does not start

Since the first phases of the batch
freezing cycle, the compressor
works intermittently
The machine interrupts the batch
freezing cycle after 16' and
switches to STOP mode
The machine interrupts the batch
freezing cycle after 16' and
switches to STOP mode, an
intermittent beep is released and
the agitator keeps working.
The machine works regularly but
the ice-cream is too soft.
During batch freezing the machine
is noisy and the agitator stops.
During the delivery of ice-cream,
the machine is noisy.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Electric trouble.
Incorrect power supply.
Master switch open.
Burnt fuses.
Machine with water condensating
system: lack of condensing water.
Machine with air condensating
system: dirty air condenser or
broken down fan.
Alarm: safety timer: the maximum
time set for batch freezing has
been exceeded.
Alarm: lack of growth in
consistency: the consistency has
not grown within the sampling
interval (Step 7 OMEGA)
Worn out agitator scraping pads.
Trouble in freezing system.
Unbalanced mixture or wrong
amount of mixture.
Insufficient condensating.
In semi-automatic cycle: the
programmed consistency value is
too low.
The belts slip.
The product is too hard.
Worn-out agitator stuffing box.
REMEDIES
Send for a technician.
Check phases.
Turn the the switch off.
Check and replace.
Check for the presence of water in
the water system to which the
machine is connected. Check the
cocks.
Clean the condenser by means of
a brush and check that the fan
motor correctly works.
Check condensating.
Make sure that the room
temperature is not too high.
Make sure that you have used a
correct amount of mixture and that
it is properly balanced.
Make sure that you have used a

Check and replace if required
Send for a technician.
