11.2 MAINTENANCE CHART - ENGINE
Engine maintenance chart: Kawasaki FH 500V, FH531V
Maintenance
* = Perform more often in dusty conditions
K =Performed by authorized Kawasaki
service/dealer
Check and add engine oil
Check for loose or lost nuts and screws
Check for fuel and oil leakage
Check or clear air intake screen
* Clean air cleaner foam element
* Clean air cleaner paper element
* Clean dust and dirt from cylinder and cylinder head fins
Tighten nuts and screws
Change engine oil
Clean and set spark plug
Change oil filter
* Replace air cleaner paper element
K Clean combustion chamber
K Check and adjust valve clearance
K Clean and lap valve seating surface
= Device check
= Element replacement
