To maintain good performance
Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or
humid. In particular, do not keep the unit:
+ in a high humidity area such as a bathroom
* near a heater
- in an area exposed to direct sunlight (eg., inside a parked car, please
be careful because it may become extremely hot)
Usabie power sources
The unit may be powered by the rechargeable battery (AIWA PB-S5),
two R03 (AAA) batteries, or AC house current using the optional
AC adaptor.

Some of the battery charger have a voltage selector switch. To switch it, use
a screwdriver or sharp object. Either 115V or 230V can be selected for 110\
120V or 220V-240V respectively.
Notes on listening with the headphones
¢ Listen at a moderate volume to avoid hearing damage.
¢ To ensure safety, do not wear them while driving or cycling.
¢ Wear them properly; L is left, R is right.
Volume of the main unit

When listening with the headphones, set the VOLUME contol of the main
unit to around 4 to 6.
When used for the first time
