ALARM/SLEEP
Tune in to a station.

While Listening to the radio or the tape, if you set the time (up to 90
minutes), you can use the sleep timer (broadcasting is automatically cut
off at the set time) and the alarm timer (an alarm announces the time)
functions.
To set the time (at step 2)
Press the ALARM/SLEEP button until the desired mode ("SLEEP" or
"ALARM") and the time are displayed. After initially displaying the sieep
timer set time, the alarm timer set time continues to be displayed.
To confirm the amount of time remaining on the timer
Press the ALARM/SLEEP button once.
When the sleep timer finishes
Radio broadcasting stops and "SLEEP" flashes. Press the
ALARM/SLEEP button to tum off the "SLEEP" indicator.
When the alarm rings
After the alarm rings for 30 seconds, the original playing mode.
To stop the alarm sound
Press the ALARM/SLEEP button.
Note
Neither the sleep timer nor the alarm timer functions during tape
operation.
