WARNING
Risk of crushing
When aligning the torch neck in normal operation, body parts located between the torch neck and the
guide body can be crushed.
► Keep your hands out of the danger zone.
► Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
6.1 Positioning the straightening unit
The straightening unit is adjusted to your welding torch on delivery. To test a different welding torch, you
must reposition the straightening unit.

Loosen the screws (C) and remove the straightening unit (B).

The torch numbers specified on the base plate (A) determine the positions of the straightening unit (B).
Insert cylinder bolts into the holes provided.

Fasten the straightening unit (B) to the base plate (A) with screws (C).

A Index plate
The index plate (A) is marked with D8, D10 and D15. This information specifies the distance between
the welding wires. The setting of the index plate (A) depends on the torch type.
Pull out the tilting lever (B) and set the index plate (A) according to the torch type.
