8.3 Changing the filter for refrigerant analysis
(ASC2000RPA only)
The refrigerant analysis filter (21), WAECO item number 4440600076,
needs to be changed once red spots begin appearing on the filter's
white surface.
1. Pull refrigerant analysis filter (21) from the bracket.
2. Disconnect both hoses from the filter.
3. Attach both hoses to a new refrigerant analysis filter. Observe flow
direction (arrow) when doing so.
4. Insert refrigerant analysis filter into bracket.
8.4 Calibrating the pressure transducer
The pressure transducer has to be correctly calibrated in order to make
accurate pressure measurements.
Calibration is required:
every four weeks (ASC2000RPA: once per year),
if the AirConServiceCenter has been subjected to heavy shaking,
every time the vacuum pump oil is changed,
if the display shows implausible pressure readings.
For calibration, the AirConServiceCenter ASC2000RPA has to
be sent to WAECO. Please call the WAECO hotline for details
(tel.: +49 (0) 25 72 / 8 79-191). You can also obtain a replacement
unit under this number.
