VISOR FRICTION FORCE
ADJUSTMENT
1 - Using the Allen key provided, you can
adjust the friction force of your visor.
VISOR SEAL ADJUSTMENT
Your helmet has been carefully pre-
adjusted at the factory.
We do not recommend changing these
settings. However, the patented SHARK
rotation system makes it possible to
adjust the visor as it is used if it needs
adjustment over time. We advise you
to contact your retailer to carry out this
operation if you are not comfortable.
CAUTION! For your safety, under
no circumstances ride with a visor
that does not provide you with perfect
visibility.
CAUTION! If your visor does not
guarantee excellent visibility after a
period of use, it is absolutely necessary
to replace it.
TEAR-OFF
Your AERON-GP helmet can be equipped
with a tear-off. A tear-off is a very
thin plastic film which will act as an
intermediate protection between your
visor and the outside that can be easily
renewed.
Please note: tear-offs are to be used only
on closed circuits and are not permitted
on the road.
The AERON-GP visor is equipped with
the fastening pins necessary to hold
tear-offs (visual A; pin indicated by the
arrow).
ASSEMBLY TIPS
1 - The tear-off pins are mounted
eccentrically; rotate them to reduce the
distance between the two pins on either
side of the visor.
2 - Place the tear-offs on the clean
visor; once the tear-offs are positioned
on the two pins, tighten the tear-offs
by rotating the two pins to reduce the
1
distance between the pins on either side
of the visor.
CAUTION! Improper positioning of
the tear-offs can impair your vision and
lead to the risk of accidents.
