3. With the chin strap tight, grab the
back of the helmet by the base and
try to remove it from your head in
a rotational motion. Then try to re-
move the helmet by grabbing it by
the base of the chin strap. You must
do these movements with sufficient
force. If the helmet starts to come
loose, the chosen helmet is too big,
so try a smaller size.
4. Lean your head forward as far as
possible. The bottom of the chin
guard should not touch your chest.

5. Lean your head backward as far as
possible. The bottom of the helmet
should not touch your back.
See Figure D.
Do not have your hair rolled up or
bound inside the helmet. Do not put
anything in or on your hair inside the
helmet. Do not add anything inside
the helmet to adjust its position on
your head.

For any questions regarding the
choosing the right helmet size, ask
your retailer for advice. Each of these
steps must be repeated throughout
the life of the helmet because the
foam padding can change over time.
If the helmet does not maintain the
correct size over its service life it will
need to be replaced.
WARNING! Never lend your
helmet without ensuring, in
accordance with the instructions in
this manual, that it suits the person
well.
WARNING! If, by following
these instructions, you cannot
find a perfectly fitting helmet, DO
NOT USE IT. Choose a different size
or model.
